Sunbelt Rentals returns to live events with major two-day conference and innovation expo at Liverpool Experience Campus

Held across the Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre, the two-day event marked a significant milestone for the business as it returned to large-scale live events following the pandemic.

Centred around the theme ‘ONE - The Sunbelt Rentals Experience’, the event showcased the company’s vision for the future of the equipment rental industry through a programme focused on technology, innovation, customer experience and people development.

Day one welcomed approximately 600 internal colleagues for a conference programme hosted in the Convention Centre. The main auditorium was transformed into the main plenary theatre before delegates attended an “Ally Pally” style darts evening in the venue’s exhibition hall.

The conference production was delivered by Fresh Agency and featured keynote sessions exploring AI, telematics, sustainability and digital transformation across the hire industry.

Day two saw the event evolve into a large-scale Innovation Expo in the exhibition centre, welcoming more than 1,000 customers and industry partners. Delivered by Sunbelt Rentals’ internal team, the exhibition showcased emerging technologies, low-carbon equipment solutions and future-focused customer tools.

The event was built around three core themes:

• Technology and innovation
• Customer experience
• People and culture

Through interactive exhibition spaces and dedicated content theatres, delegates explored how the sector is evolving through smarter technology, enhanced customer solutions and continued investment in workforce skills and safety.

As Sunbelt Rentals’ UK head office is based in Warrington, Liverpool Experience Campus provided a strategically located venue capable of accommodating large-scale conference sessions, exhibitions, networking and evening entertainment within a single connected destination.
