Impact that goes further

Creating memorable experiences is at the heart of Liverpool Experience Campus, but as a business rooted in Liverpool our impact extends far beyond the events in our venues.

This year, we have delivered more than Â£11 million in independently verified social value across the Liverpool City Region, bringing our total social value contribution since 2022 to over Â£28 million.

Published in our latest Social Value Impact Plan (LINK), the results demonstrate how social value has become embedded throughout our organisation. From supporting local communities and developing future talent to driving environmental improvements and strengthening supply chain partnerships, we're committed to creating positive, lasting impact alongside commercial success.

Our approach is built around four key pillars: people, community, environment and industry influence. During the last year, this included supporting local charities and grassroots organisations through grants awarded to 14 community projects, funded by Â£15,000 raised by employees through the LEX Foundation.

We're investing in the future of the events industry through work experience opportunities, mentoring programmes and initiatives that help young people explore careers in events and the wider visitor economy.

Alongside these community initiatives, we have continued to make progress on our sustainability commitments, achieving a 75% site-wide recycling rate, securing ISO 50001 certification and gaining international recognition through the A Greener Future Awards.

We're focused on building on this momentum. Our plans include expanding apprenticeship and early careers opportunities, supporting young people facing barriers to employment, and progressing our ambition to become a net zero campus by 2030.

Social value is a core part of how we operate, collaborate and grow. Together with our staff, clients and communities, we're helping ensure the benefits of the events held here are felt far beyond our venue walls.
